I Just Love Geometrics

Posted On: Wednesday, February 12, 2014

A few weeks ago I posted about the geometric trend and how would hit the high street in 2014. Well it’s certainly hit alright and I just can’t get enough of it! You can find geometrics on everything from wallpaper to cushions, candles to prints and even storage boxes to kitchenware. I love it and I can’t help but to share my geometric crush with you.

If you head over to my Pinterest page you will find lots of geometric inspiration and pins, and here are a few of my favourite finds.

Homeware

After finding all these wonderful products I couldn’t wait to own something with a geometric print on it. One of the best ranges available, in my opinion, is from Ikea, who have just launched a new homeware range called Brakig Collection. Brakig means rebellious, and this range certainly is, with only 30 pieces available in the collection. These pieces are from the collaboration between Ikea and ArtRebels to create a range of well-designed furniture and interior design details that ‘make no excuses’. These geometric shapes feature sharp graphic lines, misty pastels and shout uber modern.

Ikea finds

I was really drawn to these items because apart from being quirky, you can mix and match them, and they still look great together.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I like things that don’t match, and therefore I couldn’t resist buying the teacup and small bowls set. I had to resist buying the whole range, but I’m sure it won’t be long before I’m back buying just one more piece.

With so many products featuring the geometric trend available to buy, you could get lost in a sea of geometry, so if you do want to own something with geometrics on, here are a few suggestions…
